Great news for SMEs and freelancers: RedAlpine invests in the Fintech startup Blackbill!

Not creditworthy? Check again!
The professional team behind Blackbill is coming from a proven Fintech company Kreditech, a successful online creditor. Throughout their work so far, they noticed a vast number of financially neglected SMEs. Apparently, there are more than five million entrepreneurs and freelancers only in Germany, who can’t benefit from a traditional approach to creditworthiness. They all have positive business prospects, but are still ineligible for the current crediting system. To support them financially and make them creditworthy, the Kreditech team created a fast-growing platform that offers innovative financing access to the small and medium sized businesses: The Blackbill.
Blackbill pays the bills
The platform decision maker is based on fully automated, digital and data-driven processes, powered by AI technology. The clients of this platform can have the pre-financed invoice paid within 24 hours easier than anywhere else. Besides its innovative financing approach, Blackbill also makes the company’s business administration much simpler. Instead of sparing too much time on the inevitable administrative duties, the Blackbill users can focus only on their core business.
Even supporters get support
Unlike any other service, the Blackbill mission is to give a hand to both SMEs and freelancers. To succeed in their plan and expand in other markets, they need support too. Besides RedAlpine, the other investors (DN Capital, Point Nine Capital and Fly Ventures) also recognized the growing potential of this platform, so they all joined in the total investment of EUR 5.5m. This will serve the purpose to further the development of Blackbill in Germany, as well as internationally.
According to Blackbill’s market niche, it seems that this investment won’t cheer up only the platform team, but many other startups, SMEs and freelancers as well. Remember, if the bank said “No” to your company, someone else might give you the chance!
