Various studies have shown that using electronic devices before going to bed can affect the user’s sleep cycle. If you don’t want to suffer from insomnia, you might be better off with a regular book. It’s up to you to choose the genre.
Leave your smartphone in the other room
Your smartphone can be a major distraction even after you have gone to sleep. To prevent any disruptions, simply turn it off or take it to another room. The world does not end if you don’t send that email or message before going to bed.
